Ms. Rita
Rita Vendrell, owner and educational director of T&J Hair Designs, is a passionate Master stylist. With over 23 years of experience in the cosmetology field, she believes healthy hair comes first. Her experience with hair growth and hair loss treatments taught her the many ways that hair often reflects underlying health issues. After a bout with iron deficiency anemia and other ailments, she knows how to get to the root of hair problems and create a course of action plan geared toward healthy hair.
Teresa (T, for short)
Teresa Vendrell is a Master stylist who received her training from Aveda Institute in Austin. As a second generation stylist, Teresa has literally grown up in the beauty industry. “I didn’t know then she was learning every day I brought her in,” says Mrs. Rita. T has been with T&J since its doors opened, with her shampoo license, and became fully licensed in 2016. Like her mother, she shares a passion for healthy hair, and educating and empowering clients. She specializes in color locs, natural hair, and presses.
